Person Centered Planning

Person centered planning is the flagship of DSPD's operations.  It encompasses all aspects of DSPD's mission and purpose - to help people live self-determined lives.

The planning process consists of a number components and processes designed to help it function smoothly throughout its life cycle.  The items listed above represent the areas where the various components exist.   Each component is significant and contributes value toward compliance with Department of Human Services policies, Medicaid waiver requirements, etc.  In addition to contributing value, some components represent key controls that are used in other areas of DSPD's business, such as processing payments submitted by providers.
