The Eligibility
Referral screen is activated when
is clicked on the Eligibility
Decision screen. The supervisor/eligibility committee can review
the information, add their recommendation, and either send it back to
the Support Coordinator, or forward it to the Eligibility Committee. The
user will be notified in their USTEPS Inbox when the supervisor has either
sent the case to the Eligibility
Committee, or returned it with their recommendation to the caseworker.

When the "Send to Supervisor" option is selected, the user will be taken to a data entry screen to detail why the Eligibility decision is being sent for additional input:

Once this form has been completed, the user clicks the "Send to Supervisor" option. The Supervisor/Eligibility Committee will be notified that a request for input has been initiated.

The request will also be placed on the Eligibility Committee agenda

The supervisor/Eligibility Committee will review the request and make a recommendation to the Intake worker:

The Intake worker will receive a message indicating that the Supervisor/Eligibility Committee has reviewed the case and submitted a recommendation.

The Intake worker can then review the recommendation and finish the Eligibility Decision. The recommendation can be viewed from the Main Consumer Menu:

The recommendation will be displayed in the table at the bottom of the recommendation screen:
