Review the Active PCSP Budget

Before the worker attempts to load the amount of new money associated with the new / increased service, they should evaluate the prescription of services in the person's budget in the Active Person Centered Support Plan in order to verify that the RFS is reasonable.  The evaluation should include the following questions:

1. Is the person's new need capable of being addressed with the current level of funding prescribed in their PCSP?  If so, can the need to be met by completing a needs based change independently of issuing a Request for Services?

2. Is the person under utilizing the services prescribed in their plan?

3. Are unallocated dollars available in the Pro Forma Budget to cover some portion of the increase?
