Electronic Documents After Submission

 

Change the Document Type and/or Date after Submission

If an electronic document is discovered to have been loaded into USTEPS in error (e.g. it was classified with the wrong document type, the wrong date, etc.), then it can be corrected by following the steps listed below. 

 

Step 1: Click on the "View Documents" link in the consumer Menu.

Step 2: Select the document type and search for the desired PDF file

a. Select the document classification

b. Click on the "Archive Search" button - the results will be listed in the table

Step 3: View and/or Update the File

a. Use the "View" link to review the document

b. Use the "Update" link to correct its classification and/or date with the document.

b.1  After clicking on the “Update” link, the system displays a pop-up window that allows the document type and/or the date to be changed.  Complete the change and then click on the “OK” button.

b.2  After the document’s classification /date change is submitted, the system displays a confirmation window.  Click on “OK” to finalize the change or “Cancel” to abort it.

 

Change the Consumer Associated with the Document or Remove the Document Entirely from USTEPS after Submission

If the file is determined to be associated with the wrong consumer or it needs to be completely removed from USTEPS, the worker should send an email about the problem to the DSPD Document and Compliance Team at dspd_imaging@utah.gov  .  The email should include the consumer’s name (as it appears in USTEPS), PID and the document in question.  The team will take the appropriate steps to resolve it.
