Closing an Incident Report

 

Upon completion of all of the steps required to resolve an Incident Report assigned DSPD will close the Incident Report in the system.

The Incident Notification, Incident Report, Support Coordinator Follow-up and any additional Follow-up questions must be submitted successfully and resolved before the Incident can be closed in UPI.

UPI will notify the person's Support Coordinator and the appointed provider agency when an Incident Report is closed successfully. UPI will also create a log note in the persons log notes in USTEPS indicating that the Incident was closed.
